The gathering of the first batch of actors also officially kicked off the prelude to the actor training of the "Impression Mazu" acting project.
On the same day, the first batch of actors of "Impression Mazu" staged a special flash mob dance activity at the dock of Meizhou Island Palace. The dancers are refreshed, their movements are neat, and their dancing postures show confident spiritual vitality and style, attracting many tourists to stop and watch. Afterwards, they came to the Shengzhimen Square of Meizhou Mazu Temple to present a passionate dance for the launching ceremony of "Mazu in the world returns to her mother's home" in the year of Jiachen, which became a beautiful scenery at the launching ceremony.
According to the director team of the "Impression Mazu" performing arts project, the first batch of 80 actors of the project are from 17 professional art colleges across the country, and they have gone through the rigorous selection of the "Impression" series of performance projects and stood out with the harsh standard of 50 selection. Among them, the average height of boys is 180 cm, and the average height of girls is 168 cm. These actors are highly skilled and versatile, not only have a solid foundation in dance, but are also proficient in singing, opera, martial arts and other artistic skills.
On February 29, the "Impression Mazu" performing arts project officially started. The project is jointly organized by the Meizhou Island Management Committee and the Guanyi Art Company under Sanxiang Impression Co., Ltd., to create a large-scale indoor and outdoor linkage, immersive experience and situational behavior combination of superior resources and the permanent site of the World Mazu Culture Forum. As the pioneer of domestic live performance and immersive performance, Sanxiang Impression has successively created a series of large-scale boutique performing arts projects such as "Impression Liu Sanjie", "Impression Da Hong Pao" and "The Most Remembered is Hangzhou" across the country.
It is reported that the "Impression Mazu" performing arts project will integrate the new concept of XR and parallel stage, give full play to the professional advantages of "art + technology", innovate the dynamic interactive experience mode, and create the first performing arts project in China that integrates Mazu cultural immersion experience and situational behavior, tell the story of Mazu, spread the spirit of Mazu, and fully demonstrate the charm of Mazu culture that has "flourished over thousands of years".
