Not long ago, the bidding for the reinforcement project of the unfinished foundation pit of Jingcheng Building has ended, and it is planned to complete the risk removal work by the end of June.

Guandu District has not mentioned the resumption of the land of Jingcheng Building for a long time, presumably it is not easy, because the most reasonable reason for recovering the land is that the land is idle, but Jingcheng Building has dug a foundation pit, not to mention, the main building has even been constructed more than plus or minus zero, so it is naturally not an idle plot.

In addition, according to the general practice of real estate projects, King Shing Building must have already taken out a mortgage after acquiring the land in 2016, and now the land has also been seized by the court, and the resumption of the building faces complex legal issues. Moreover, Jingcheng Group, the developer of Jingcheng Building, filed for bankruptcy liquidation last year, which further increased the difficulty of recovering the project's land.

It can be expected that after the foundation pit of Jingcheng Building is reinforced, it can only solve the foundation safety problems of the surrounding projects and the construction problems of the northern section of Feihu Avenue, which will not help much to change the development status of the central intersection of Wujiaba, and Jingcheng Building will become an embarrassment that Wujiaba has to face for a long time in the process of building CBD.

A Jingcheng Building has made the development of Wujiaba so passive, but a fact that has to be mentioned is that Wujiaba was actually lucky to avoid the two big pits behind Jingcheng Building.

The first one is the Baoneng Spring City Building. In November 2017, Baoneng Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Kunming City, planning to build Baoneng Spring City Center, an international economic and trade center and an international financial center, in Wujiaba. At that time, Baoneng was in the limelight, and it also made a large-scale layout in Yunnan, and Wujiaba was building a headquarters base at that time, and it was reasonable to introduce Baoneng.

After signing the contract with Kunming, Baoneng set up a preliminary department for the Spring City Center project in Kunming to plan the implementation of the project. Although Kunming City has never announced the specific construction site of the Spring City Center in Wujiaba, with Baoneng's reputation back then, the location will definitely not be bad, and the volume is likely to exceed that of Jingcheng Building, because according to the Baoneng Group's statement at that time, the Spring City Center will gather all the formats of Baoneng Center and Baoneng Financial Center, and become a large-scale urban complex project integrating offices, hotels, apartments, residences, shopping centers, etc.

Such a planning blueprint, if it can really be realized, will indeed add a lot of color to Wujiaba, however, just like Baoneng signed several large projects in Kunming at that time, the Spring City Center has not really been implemented, and Wujiaba has not provided land for the project. If Baoneng was not fooling at that time, but really implementing the project, with Baoneng's later development status, there is a high probability that the Wujiaba Spring City Center will be unfinished.

Another "big thunder" that Wujiaba was lucky enough to avoid was Zhengwei Group.

In 2022, Zhengwei Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Kunming City, planning to invest 27 billion yuan in Kunming, including a number of large projects, including the Zhengwei RCEP headquarters base project built in Guandu District.

Zhengwei Group's RCEP ABP project in Guandu District has not announced the specific construction site after the signing, but the outside world speculates that if it really lands, it is likely to be in Wujiaba, because Wujiaba has long been planned as the ABP, and the world's top 500 enterprises such as Zhengwei Group are the objects that Wujiaba strives for.

However, after Zhengwei Group signed a contract with Kunming City, there was no follow-up, and the RCEP headquarters base in Guandu District also came to naught, while Zhengwei Group has been exposed to financial fraud and defaulted on huge debts since last year.

According to recent reports by a number of financial media, the 10 trillion assets claimed by Zhengwei Group have been confirmed to be false, and the sales of 700 billion yuan also have a lot of water. Recently, Bank of Guiyang has been recovering 1.6 billion yuan of loans from a number of enterprises of Zhengwei Group.

If Zhengwei Group really built the so-called RCEP headquarters base in Wujiaba two years ago, the ending would not be much better than Jingcheng Building. It is precisely because Zhengwei Group brags that it does not fall to the ground that Wujiaba avoids another big pit.
