On paper, the CPU core and GPU (Adreno 735) frequency of the 8s Gen3 have been increased by about 200MHz compared to the 7+ Gen3, which will theoretically have better performance.
It can be seen that the Redmi Turbo 3 equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen3 has a comprehensive score of more than 1.62 million in Antutu (the test environment is about 25°C at room temperature, and the furious mode is turned on, the same below), of which the CPU part score reaches 400,000, while in GeekBench6, the single-core score is 2000+, and the multi-core score is 5400+.
As a comparison, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 models we evaluated before were Antutu 1.5 million+, Geekbench6 single-core 1900 and multi-core 5000, Snapdragon 8 Gen2 was 1.65 million+, GeekBench6 single-core was about 2100, and multi-core was about 5500.
It can be seen that the Redmi Turbo 3's score in the benchmark test is still slightly higher than that of the 7+ Gen3 platform model, which is in line with expectations, especially the multi-core score is outstanding, and the comprehensive performance is close to the level of the flagship platform Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
In the 3D Mark link, which pays more attention to GPU performance, the Wild Life extreme item score is 3159, which is quite normal, it is worth mentioning that, in the 20-minute stress test, the cycle score is basically stable in the range of 2600~3100, and the stability has also reached 83.2%, it seems that Redmi still has some strength in its "furious tuning".

As for "Genshin Impact", the average frame rate of 58.7 FPS is close to full frame, and observing the curve, you can see that there is no problem in the early stage, but there is a certain fluctuation in about 20 minutes, and the frame rate drops to about 52 FPS, but fortunately, it recovers after a minute or two, and it has little impact in the actual game process, and the perception is not obvious.
It should be noted that during the evaluation process, the Redmi Turbo 3 did not reduce the image quality or brightness, and maintained a consistent gaming experience throughout the whole process, which is worthy of praise.

I also noticed that when I tried Genshin Impact, the average power consumption was 5.2W, and the body temperature was also around 42°C. This must be due to the frozen cooling system, and at the same time, Redmi also controls the X4 super core to run at about 1.7GHz, mainly relying on 4 A720 cores to work at 2Ghz, which is more aggressive.
Another point is that through the AI capabilities of Snapdragon 8S Gen3, Redmi Turbo 3 can also render the original 720P native image quality into 1.5K, realizing the super-resolution function similar to that of competitors' independent display chips. The advantage of AI super-resolution is that it can analyze the adjacent pixels in the picture and reconstruct the rendering model through AI computing power on the premise of ensuring that the power consumption is almost unchanged, which is reflected in the visual that it has more picture details, the contrast will be higher, the characters will be more layered, and the background details will be richer.
As for "Honkai: Star Dome Railway", which requires higher performance, at the highest image quality, Redmi Turbo 3 ran an average frame rate of 50.8 FPS, and the frame rate fluctuated greatly, but fortunately, the overall situation was relatively stable, and the power consumption also came to 6.1W. This result is acceptable, after all, as a mid-range model, the requirements for iron collapse are still a bit high, reduce the image quality, and use Redmi Turbo 3 to do daily commissions is not a big problem.
Judging from our evaluation results, the Redmi Turbo 3 equipped with 8s Gen3 is still slightly stronger than the 7+ Gen3 model in terms of actual gaming experience, but games like "Honor of Kings" and "Genshin Impact" are mature enough and optimized in place, plus the upper limit of performance is there, if the performance requirements for mobile phones are not so high, the actual experience difference will not be too big.
