He promoted the cooperation between the new area and a number of universities and scientific research institutions, invited experts to pay attention to and understand Dapeng, made suggestions and voices for Dapeng in major national events, continued to tell the story of Dapeng and the advantages of the ocean, planned and promoted large-scale activities such as the deep-sea science and technology innovation forum and the high-quality seaward development forum to settle in Dapeng, and introduced a team of academicians to provide support for the high-quality development of the marine industry in the new area.
