With the theme of "Ancient Civilization of Jiangsu", the history from the Paleolithic period to the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties is displayed through six exhibition halls. The special exhibition hall mainly hosts temporary exhibitions.

The golden beast is the treasure of Nanbo's town hall. In the 80s of the 20th century, a batch of cultural relics were accidentally found in a cellar in Xuyi area, Jiangsu Province, among which there was a golden beast covered on a copper kettle, with vivid shape and exquisite craftsmanship. The golden beast is 17.5 cm long, 16 cm wide and 10.2 cm high, and can be traced back to the Western Han Dynasty at the latest. The overall shape is bent over the body, the demeanor is alert, the stomach is thick-walled, cast and formed, and the whole body is hammered with circular markings. The inside of the abdomen is engraved with the word "Yellow Six". The gold beast has a gold content of 99% and weighs 9,100 grams, which is the heaviest of the ancient gold casters unearthed in the mainland, and is known as the "treasure of the town".

Nanbo is a very interesting place, more than 20 years ago when I was still in middle school, I often went, it is a very noisy and quiet place, and students are free of charge, very friendly, many exhibition halls are very distinctive, welcome everyone to visit Nanbo.
Now that Nanjing is hot, remember to protect yourself from the sun when you go out.
