In April 2024, Microsoft announced that it will open a new artificial intelligence (AI) center in Paddington, central London, and is recruiting outstanding people in the field to work there.
It is reported that the newly established Microsoft AI Center in London will be co-led by senior AI scientists and engineers Jordan Hoffmann and Mustafa Suleyman.
Jordan Hoffmann previously worked as an AI scientist at technology companies Inflection and DeepMind, where he gained extensive experience in AI research and development.
Mustafa Suleyman was the UK-based co-founder of artificial intelligence giant DeepMind, now owned by Google.

The Microsoft AI Center will be located at 2 Kingdom St, Paddington, London, and will be dedicated to the development of Microsoft products that use artificial intelligence and conduct research on AI technologies.
British media pointed out that the establishment of this artificial intelligence center has further expanded Microsoft's influence in the UK, Microsoft already has a research laboratory in Cambridge, and the company also announced at the end of last year that it would invest 2.5 billion pounds in the UK for the development of artificial intelligence.
