According to Thai media news, on April 8, the Thai Angtong Province Rescue Association received a request for help that a giant reticulated python had infiltrated a residential house in the local Fuzhi County, so it coordinated the Angtong Province reptile rescue team to help.
Upon arrival, it was found that the python was resting next to the house, and it took rescuers more than 10 minutes to catch it. Upon examination, it was found that the snake was a female reticulated python with a body length of about 3.5 meters and a weight of about 20 kilograms. Rescuers then put it in a bag and prepared to release it back into the wild.
According to the 65-year-old owner, she first heard a strange noise in the garage in front of the house, and was frightened when she went in to check it out, because she found a giant python sneaking into the garage. She then drove the car out of the garage and immediately called for help, presumably looking for a shady place to rest.
