On April 8, 2024, I officially confirmed with the Chinese Volleyball Association that I will return to the national team during the Women's Volleyball World League.
The only purpose of my return to the team this time is to contribute to the qualification of the Chinese women's volleyball team for the Paris Olympic Games, for which I will go all out, concentrate on training and competition, and in order to avoid all interference and misunderstanding, I will not participate in any commercial activities during the national team, and will not accept any commercial endorsement cooperation.
From the end of last year to the Spring Festival this year, my body was in a period of fatigue, my competitive state was seriously declining, and I couldn't even cope with the daily competition, plus the various gossip and deliberate attacks on the Internet against me since the Tokyo Olympics have not stopped, and even affected my family, I once lost interest in volleyball, hoping to stay away from the distraction of right and wrong, so I submitted an application for retirement to the Henan Provincial Sports Bureau. Knowing that I had the idea of retiring, leaders at all levels of the Henan Sports Bureau, the State General Administration of Sports and the national team were very concerned and communicated with me many times, enlightened and encouraged me.
In the past two years, my mentor has encouraged me to return to the national team and continue to fight for the country, and she has helped me analyze my physical and technical problems many times when I was at my lowest point, and urged me to strengthen my physical training. Driven by various forces, I dispelled the idea of retiring, strengthened my physical training, improved my athletic performance, and the improvement of my form gave me confidence, and I gradually walked out of the trough. Now I feel physically and mentally ready, so today I officially confirmed my return to the national team and play for my country again. I would like to express my gratitude to those who have cared for and helped me during this time.
