Recently, a set of road test spy photos of NIO's new ET9 were obtained from the Internet, and the new car is positioned as a large flagship coupe SUV and is expected to be launched in 2024. It is powered by a dual-motor four-wheel drive system.
In terms of appearance, the new car adopts the overall design language of the NIO X-bar family, with a closed front grille. The split headlight clusters on both sides highlight the identity of new energy. The upper part of the grille is equipped with a continuous waiting waiting to connect the upper daytime running lights of the split headlight clusters on both sides, while the lower light clusters are located on both sides of the lower envelope, with a triangular design. Notably, there is a new LiDAR above the front windshield as well as two cameras, indicating that it is equipped with the NIO Aquila 2.0 super sensing system.
The straight body waistline looks more tough. The large fastback tail design is paired with new twin 5-spoke alloy wheels to show the sporty beauty. At the rear, the through-type taillight group is very prominent, and when lit, it is very eye-catching. In addition, the new car adds a lifting rear wing, which looks very stylish. The body length of the new car is 5,325 mm, width is 2,016 mm, height is 1,620 mm, and the wheelbase is 3,250 mm.
In terms of interior, the center console adopts a full LCD instrument cluster, with a 12.8 floating central control screen + HUD head-up display + rear 2 touch screens. In terms of configuration, it is equipped with NIO Shenji NX9031, which supports map navigation, N-Box enhanced entertainment console, 360° surround view, upgraded PanoCinema panoramic digital cockpit, OTA upgrade, etc.
The power parameters have not yet been revealed, and in terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system, paired with 75 kWh, 100 kWh, and 150 kWh ternary lithium battery packs. In addition, it supports the first "global 900V high-voltage architecture" in China, which can achieve industry-leading supercharging performance of increasing the range by 255km in 5 minutes.
