Outside of work, Huang Haifen, a Han girl, has gradually become closer to Tibetan culture. When she first arrived in Nyingchi, she made jokes about the cultural differences between China and Tibet. "When I finished cleaning in the office, I handed the broom to my colleague. Later I learned that in Tibetan culture, handing a broom directly is a taboo. The broom should be placed on the ground by the passer first, and then picked up by the other party. ”

Huang Haifen was born in 1993 and is a native of Guangdong. During her studies at the School of Business Administration of Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, she was rated as an outstanding Communist Youth League member and an outstanding student cadre, and won the school-level scholarship for two consecutive years.
In 2017, Huang Haifen, a recent graduate, found a job at the Bank of China's Guangzhou Nansha branch. When she was about to join the company, she received a notice from a university teacher that the Bayi District of Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region, was bringing in talents. Huang Haifen was moved when she heard it, "I didn't think so much about it at the time, and secretly signed up without telling my family." ”
"Compared to Guangzhou, there is a greater shortage of people in border ethnic minority areas like Tibet. I hope I can contribute to this and play my part. Huang Haifen said.
Huang Haifen passed the written test and interview all the way, and it was not until the eve of leaving that he couldn't hide it before he "confessed" to his family that he wanted to work in Tibet. The daughter wants to give up a stable job and leave her hometown, and her parents initially strongly disagree.
Huang Haifen, who has been obedient since childhood, rebelled this time. She was determined to do a good job in the snowy plateau, "although I didn't know what challenges I would encounter, I still got on the train to Nyingchi without hesitation."
Huang Haifen became a township civil servant, and was initially assigned to the Organization Department of the Bayi District Party Committee to study as a class, mainly responsible for information network propaganda work. When she first started, the biggest difficulty she encountered was writing. Huang Haifen recalled to reporters: "Writing is the basic skill of agency work, but I have never done it before, and I have to learn everything from scratch." Through studying the information published on the WeChat public accounts of "Tibet Group Workers" and "Nyingchi Group Workers", I have mastered the basic essentials of information writing, and I have also broadened my writing horizons through studying the Communist Party member network, the China Organization and Personnel Newspaper, and the party building networks of various provinces and cities. ”
The hard work paid off, and Huang Haifen slowly grew from an "information novice" to a "writing expert". Her manuscripts have been used by media and units such as China Organization and Personnel News, People's Daily Online, Tibet Daily, Organization Department of the Party Committee of Tibet Autonomous Region, and Organization Department of the Nyingchi Municipal Party Committee. Since joining the work, Huang Haifen has been awarded the title of Outstanding Information Officer, Advanced Individual in Propaganda and Ideology, Advanced Individual in Information Work in the Autonomous Region Organization System in 2020, and Outstanding Correspondent of China Organization and Personnel News.

The desk work in the organization department helped Huang Haifen lay a solid foundation for writing. She really went to the grassroots level in April 2021 after coming to Gala Village.
Gala Village is a natural village in Nyingchi City, with a total of 33 households and 152 people. The peach blossom trees here are tall and blooming, and they are famous for their wild blooms. Huang Haifen recalled what he saw and heard when he first arrived in Gala Village: "At that time, it happened to be the annual Peach Blossom Cultural Tourism Festival in Gala Village, and the peach blossoms all over the mountains were very beautiful. ”
The Peach Blossom Cultural Tourism Festival is a business card of the Nyingchi area. In 2002, the first Peach Blossom Cultural Tourism Festival kicked off in Gala Village, and since then, tourists from all over the country have been in an endless stream in March and April every year.
Over the years, Gala Village has built a peach blossom source scenic spot and achieved remarkable results in the development of eco-tourism economy. Not only does this small village earn a considerable amount of money from admission every year, but the villagers also grow fruits and vegetables in their own courtyards, organize yard picking, and some even sell ecological agricultural and animal husbandry products.

The first thing Huang Haifen did after being stationed in the village was to follow the village cadres to several villagers' homes. "In the old village road of Gala Village, it can be said that 'one body is dirt on a sunny day, and two feet are mud on a rainy day'. The smell of cow dung and pig dung is everywhere, and now in March and April, the smell of peach blossoms fills the clean and tidy village. The economy is getting better and better, and the enthusiasm of the masses to participate in the construction of villages is also higher. Huang Haifen said with a smile.
In order to do a good job in the annual Peach Blossom Cultural Tourism Festival, Huang Haifen thought of the method of "creating peach blossom cultural and creative products". "We have launched cultural and creative products such as peach blossom brooches, peach blossom bookmarks, and peach blossom masks, which have further promoted the 'peach blossom economy' in Gala Village. ”
Due to the limited flowering period, the annual Peach Blossom Cultural Tourism Festival ends every May. After some thought, Huang Haifen and the village cadres, under the guidance of the higher-level party committee and government, began to plan a new path of rural revitalization of "red tourism and green tourism".
On July 21, 2021, General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected Gala Village. Soon after, the Bayi District Party Committee strengthened the top-level design and invested 16.58 million yuan to build four red research theme education joint exhibition halls with distinctive characteristics and interconnections with the theme of "Ode to Heroes, Ode to Liberation, Ode to Revitalization, and Ode to Unity" at the former site of the old Nyingchi County Party Committee, Liding Village of Nyingchi Town, Baji Village of Bayi Town, and Gala Village of Nyingchi Town.
In April 2022, the Gala Village Red Research Theme Education Exhibition Hall was the first to open. On an old photo wall in the exhibition hall, the story of a normal graduate from Xiao County, Anhui Province is displayed. This person's name is Daniel Zhang, in the 60s of the last century, Daniel Zhang responded to the call of the country to work in the Nyingchi breeding farm, contributing his youth and sweat to the construction of Nyingchi. Later, he met and fell in love with Baima, a Tibetan girl from Gala Village, and achieved a beautiful marriage of national unity.
