In order to thoroughly implement the principles and policies of anti-drug work and create a good atmosphere for national anti-narcotics, Huairou District and Beijing Tiankang Drug Rehabilitation Center held a grand launching ceremony of the main venue of 100 villages for anti-drug propaganda in the Party Member Activity Center of Xizhuang Village, Huaibei Town, on April 8. Wang Jing, Director of the Drug Rehabilitation Education Division of the Beijing Municipal Administration of Drug Rehabilitation, Zhang Xinhang, Director of the Beijing Tiankang Drug Rehabilitation Center, Chen Cheng, Deputy Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the District Party Committee and Director of the Narcotics Control Office, the District Drug Control Office, the Public Security Bureau, the District Justice Bureau, the District Culture and Tourism Bureau, the District Women's Federation, and the leaders in charge of the anti-drug work of Huaibei Town, as well as more than 50 catering and homestay operators attended the event.
At the beginning of the event, the host enthusiastically announced the start of the event and introduced the leaders and guests attending the scene. Subsequently, the leaders who participated in the event jointly pressed the starting ball and officially launched the "Everyone Anti-drug Small Action Beautiful Countryside Big Scenery" anti-drug propaganda 100 rural activities. This initiative marks a new stage in the anti-drug propaganda work in the district, which will cover more villages and make the anti-drug concept deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
Immediately afterwards, the leaders of the meeting issued letters of appointment to 10 anti-drug volunteer representatives (homestay operators) and awarded flags to the volunteer team. These volunteers will take on the important task of anti-drug propaganda, shine in their respective posts, and contribute to the anti-drug work in rural areas.
Subsequently, the representatives of homestay operators issued an initiative, calling on the majority of homestay operators to actively participate in anti-drug propaganda and jointly create a drug-free rural environment. This initiative has received a warm response from the on-site homestay operators, and everyone has expressed that they will actively respond to the call to jointly protect the beautiful home.
At the event, calligraphers from the Peasants and Workers Party presented calligraphy works to the Huaibei Town Government, conveying the concept of anti-drug in the form of art, and pushing the event to a climax. The director of the Beijing Tiankang Drug Rehabilitation Center delivered a speech at the scene, "The prohibition of drugs is in the present generation, the benefit is in the future, the responsibility is arduous, and the mission is glorious. We will send more high-quality drug rehabilitation publicity and education and drug rehabilitation services to the vast countryside and to more people, work together to build a new pattern of mass prevention and control work in the whole society, and jointly build many villages in the suburbs of Beijing into greener mountains, greener water, bluer sky, more peaceful society, and happier people!"
After the end of the first phase of the main venue, the leaders and guests moved to the square outside the venue to continue to participate in the second phase of the event. On the square, the villagers of Xizhuang brought a wonderful Yangge performance, and the atmosphere was warm and cheerful. At the same time, the scene also set up drug knowledge explanation, simulated drug display, distribution of publicity materials and other links, so that the villagers can more intuitively understand the harm of drugs and prevention knowledge.
At the end of the event, four well-known doctors from Chaoyang Hospital and the Third Hospital of North Traditional Chinese Medicine provided free medical services for the villagers on the spot, so that everyone could pay attention to their own health and enhance their physical fitness while participating in anti-drug activities.
The successful holding of the launching ceremony of the main venue of 100 villages for anti-drug propaganda has injected new impetus into the anti-drug propaganda work in Huairou District. Subsequently, the District Narcotics Control Office will cooperate with the Beijing Tiankang Drug Rehabilitation Institute to carry out more than 50 anti-drug theme publicity activities in various villages in our district, so as to deepen the anti-drug propaganda to more villages, so that the anti-drug concept will be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and jointly create a drug-free beautiful village.
