Living room
LIVING ROOM
The entrance function is placed in the independent elevator hall, and the entrance door is the living room - a very clear minimalist style, with black, white and gray coffee as the main color, no main lamp design, light gray tiles, and a strong sense of wholeness in the space, supplemented by curves and other modeling modifications, adding a sense of design.
The owner is accustomed to playing VR and other games in the living room, and at the beginning of the design, it was said that there was no need for a traditional coffee table, and the sense of openness and freedom of the space was more important. That's why we simplified the living room, choosing comfortable sofas and rugs to create a living room activity area where you can play freely.
Combine the storage space with the TV background wall, use black wood veneer to unify the surface layer, and the bottom is a panda white rock slab platform, which can be used to place game equipment, which is visually refreshing and advanced.
The owner wanted to make the balcony a fitness space. As can be seen from the floor plan, there are irremovable load-bearing walls on both sides of the balcony, and in order to have a more natural visual effect, we made a transitional shape for the door opening, hiding the structure that the space wants to weaken.
Kitchen
KITCHEN AREA
The owner hopes that there can be a small bar in the kitchen, where he usually drinks coffee and maintains greenery, and the atmosphere is more natural and warm.
We designed a background wall with wood veneer, paired with modern chandeliers and wall lamps, to provide a warm atmosphere of light and shadow for dining. The uniform wood color is visually unified, and it also fits the minimalist tone of the space.
The restaurant usually eats for 2 people, and occasionally has 6 to 8 friends, so we combine the dining table with the island, which is made of light gray slate, the dining table is veneered in wood, and the legs are made of transparent acrylic baffle, with thin-legged dining chairs, to reduce the feeling of bulkiness.
The open kitchen meets the needs of Chinese and Western kitchens, and the sink area and the stove area are of different heights to facilitate the homeowner's cooking. The countertop is made of light limestone slabs, the cabinet body is made of gray skin-feeling cabinet doors, and electrical appliances such as dishwashers and bakers are all embedded to make the space more integrated and reduce cleaning dead corners.
Guest bathroom
TOILET
By moving the washroom outward, we actually borrowed the area from the kitchen and enlarged the guest bathroom, so that we could make a cabinet and build a washer and dryer into it. The material of the washroom area has a strong connection with the public area, and the suspended volume echoes the shape.
Push open the glass sliding door, the interior is a light gray space, terrazzo wall tiles, add niches, save the trouble of installing additional device shelves, install a long floor drain under the shower, light gray glass as a partition, simple and refreshing.
bedchamber
BEDROOM
The owner wanted to convert the north-facing guest bedroom into a multi-purpose room for office, entertainment, and more. So we changed the entrance to the second bedroom and bathroom, and placed them harmoniously into the larger space of the master bedroom.
The wood veneer in the common area continues to the bedrooms, but the floor has been replaced with a wooden floor, and the wall paint has also been replaced with a warm yellow, making the space warmer and more mellow in terms of shape, material and color.
After the partition wall of the second bedroom was removed, two sets of cabinets facing the sleeping area and the study were used as partitions. The owner wanted the study to have a little more personality, and we used a curved shape to deal with the bay window shape, which has a more delicate and coherent effect.
The bathroom is covered with red tiles, grey glass separates dry and wet, and a long floor drain is placed under the shower. Because of the use of wall-hung toilets, we need a false wall to place the water tank, so we made the false wall to the top and left an alcove storage in the shower.
The sleeping area is not decorated with a lot of decorations, and the wood veneer is used as the background decoration of the bedside, with a modern bedside wall lamp, which is individual and restrained.
On the other side, a floating table is made, which can be a bedside table or a single desk, which is practical and beautiful. The bay window is wrapped in the same wood veneer, and the warm wood color will give people a sense of intimacy and reduce the visual oppression caused by the bay window structure.
Although it is used in a large area of the same material, through the decoration of details, it can also make a sense of hierarchy and make the space exquisite and rich.
