ZARA withdraws from the Chinese market?

The ZARA brand responded to the media that the number of 9 stores closed in more than two months is not accurate, and ZARA has closed three stores in Huizhou, Dongguan and Shanghai Baoshan in the past two months.

The ZARA brand also said that in August last year, the company opened ZARA's latest image flagship store in Shenyang Joy City, and launched a pop-up store in Shanghai and a local co-branded series in the Chinese market. This year, the company will renovate and upgrade the ZARA flagship store on Nanjing East Road in Shanghai. At the same time, it will continue to open new flagship stores in some cities. Since 2004, ZARA and Inditex Group have been operating in China to provide more diversified purchase channels for Chinese consumers through stores in nearly 50 cities, as well as platforms such as official websites, apps, mini programs, Douyin and Tmall.
