Certificate of Divorce
In order to deepen the reform of the trial methods and working mechanisms for marriage and family disputes, the family trial team of the Sanyuan Court further extended the judicial trial function, fully embodying the court's sense of purpose of administering justice for the people and judicial convenience for the people. In March 2024, the Sanyuan Court accepted a divorce dispute case, and under the patient communication and mediation of the family trial judge, the two parties reached a divorce agreement, and the court made a civil mediation document in accordance with the law.
What the judge said
There are two types of divorce: divorce by agreement and divorce by litigation.

Divorce by mutual agreement
The department handling the divorce by agreement is the Civil Affairs Bureau, and the divorce certificate is obtained.

Divorce by litigation
If the court initiates a divorce lawsuit and reaches an agreement through mediation, the court issues a civil mediation document, and if a divorce agreement cannot be reached, the court shall hold a trial in accordance with law and issue a civil judgment, and if the conditions for divorce are met, the judgment shall grant the divorce.
Tips
In cases where the court grants a divorce, after the judgment document takes effect, both parties may submit a written application to the court with their ID cards and the judgment document, and after verification, the people's court may issue a Divorce Certificate for them.
