The Guangdexun sodium-ion battery manufacturing base project with an investment of 10 billion yuan is a key construction project in our city, which is constructed in two phases. In the Guangde area of the Yangtze River Delta (Xuancheng) Industrial Cooperation Zone, located in the third phase of the Municipal Economic Development Zone, the first phase of the sodium sodium-ion battery manufacturing base project, covering an area of 323.2 acres, is accelerating construction. It is understood that this new energy project with a total investment of 10 billion yuan will start on November 19, 2023, and has completed an infrastructure investment of 150 million yuan.

At present, the steel frame of the on-site cell plant is being installed, and the main structure of the comprehensive building, R&D pilot plant, module pack plant and other main structures is under construction, which is expected to be capped at the end of April, and then the construction of the indoor steel structure and the maintenance structure will be carried out, and the mechanical and electrical equipment will be ready to enter the factory.
It is understood that the Guangdexun sodium sodium-ion battery manufacturing base project is invested and constructed by Jiangsu Zhongna Energy Technology Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 20GWh sodium-ion battery cells and 10GWh sodium-ion battery systems, and the project plans to build 130,000 square meters. From the beginning of the construction of the project, the construction unit has established a joint working group mechanism to strengthen project scheduling, and multiple construction areas have been promoted synchronously, so as to escort the smooth commissioning of the project with practical measures.
