In order to effectively enhance the awareness of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction among students, faculty and staff, enhance the ability to prevent accidents and escape and avoid dangers, and create a safe campus. Recently, the Lishui Road Special Service Station of the Lijiang Fire and Rescue Detachment went deep into the Xianghe School in the Gucheng District of Lijiang City to carry out the "Earthquake Emergency Avoidance Evacuation and Fire Fighting Drill" and the fire safety centralized elimination drill.
In the training of fire knowledge
Through on-site interaction and interesting questions and answers, the fire commanders and fighters focused on how to protect in an earthquake and how to escape and self-rescue in a fire, and other fire safety knowledge such as how to escape and self-rescue in the event of natural disasters and fires in life, and gave a "unique" fire safety lesson for teachers and students. At the event site, the students actively answered vivid and interesting questions, and the interactive atmosphere was hot.
In a fire emergency drill
With a rush of fire alarms, the school quickly launched the emergency drill plan, the students responded quickly, the person in charge of each floor quickly arrived, all teachers and students took the head with both hands, covered the mouth and nose with their hands, bent over and bowed their heads, etc., under the guidance of the guides on each floor, they quickly reached the safe area through the evacuation stairs and windows. At the same time, fire rescue personnel quickly arrived at the scene to deal with the fire, and the whole drill process was well-organized, safe and orderly, and achieved the expected results.
In the firefighting equipment experience
The special service station carefully prepared all kinds of fire rescue clothing, fire fighting and rescue equipment, patiently explained and introduced the names and uses of various fire fighting equipment, as well as the daily training of search and rescue dogs and the types of search and rescue dogs, and demonstrated the wearing of fire fighting equipment and the use of some fire fighting equipment.
In order to explain the use of fire extinguishers more vividly, the fire commanders and fighters introduced and demonstrated the correct operation methods of using fire extinguishers to extinguish fires, and invited teachers to actively come forward to practice the operation and take turns to practice fire extinguishing exercises.
Through this emergency evacuation drill, all teachers and students on campus have learned about the emergency avoidance knowledge after the fire, are familiar with the escape route of the fire safety evacuation drill, master the use of fire-fighting equipment and the protective measures and methods taken in response to the fire, enhance the response ability of teachers and students of "emergency evacuation and safe self-rescue", and also improve the fire safety awareness of teachers and students on campus, and build a solid safety line of defense on campus.
