Fishing for lead is not completely useless, but many times it is a symptom rather than a cure, why do you say that? I will talk to you about my own opinions, and then share 2 ways to cure both the symptoms and the root cause.
Why is it said that fishing away lead is a palliative solution?
Because the lead is only through blunt fishing, filtering some signals, it can neither stop the small trash fish from biting, nor can it help us catch target fish such as crucian carp and carp.
And if the fishing is too blunt, it will also filter out some useful signals, such as crucian carp, which is not very fierce in itself, and if you fish too blunt, the signal to eat the bait will not be reflected, unless you eat the dead mouth and drag the hook to run.
It doesn't matter when the fish is active, but if the fish is inactive and the appetite is not strong, then it will suffer a big loss if you use the lead.
Of course, running lead is not useless, for example, if you encounter some middle and upper stratagemic fish, such as white stripes and other fish, then running lead is still a bit useful, it can make the bait fast to the end, reduce the white stripe interface.
When the little trash fish are crazy and float and dance, running lead can at least make the float quieter and our mood better.
There are 2 ways to make a nest for small fish, the first one: accelerate the lure of fish, so that a large number of target fish can gather in the nest
It's useless to just think about avoiding small fish, if there is no target fish in the nest, or if the target fish are small, even if the small fish don't bite, we still won't be able to catch them.
So my first solution is to leave the small fish out of the way, and find a way to lure the target fish into the nest quickly and in large quantities.
As long as a large number of target fish gather in the nest, the small trash fish will naturally leave, at least not so crazy.
So what should be done?
We can amplify the taste of the bait a little, such as using a strong or fragrant bait, or adding some additives such as thyme and hexagram, so that the "penetrating power" is strong and can be better perceived by fish at a distance.
It is useless just because the bait tastes big, you also need to speed up the frequency of pumping, increase the amount of bait feeding, don't care about the drifting phase, just pull the bait and pump hard, and lift the rod when the bait is in place. If you are fishing for carp, you can directly drain the loose bait, and you have to go on a large bait group, and pulling the bait will not satisfy their appetite.
Although the big flavor type + high frequency rod drawing, the small fish will be more serious, but it is also very helpful for luring the target fish, and the small trash fish will naturally disperse when a large number of target fish enter the nest.
However, there is a prerequisite for using this method, and at least one of the following two conditions is met:
1. There are not many small trash fish.
2. The density of target fish is relatively high.
Like the summer this trick is not very easy to use, because the small trash fish are too active in summer, and some waters have a ridiculously large number of small trash fish, the water surface is black and pressed, if you still use this method, it is estimated that the bait will not be able to go down. The second way to make a nest for small fish: a large amount of nest and a harder nest material
If you have this water, the density of target fish is not high, such as crucian carp fishing, it takes a long time to make a nest, and even if you have a nest, it is three or five, and you can't make a connecting rod.
In this case, I think the pumping frequency is useless, the density of the target fish is not high, which means that the nest must be slow, so we have to ensure that the nest material cannot be eaten by the small trash fish before the target fish enters the nest.
There are usually two ways to do it, one is to hit a heavy nest, you hit a pound of nest material and ten pounds of nest material, and the speed of being consumed must be different.
However, the defect of this method is that it is not easy to grasp the dosage, and the effect is not good if there is less nest material, and if there is more nest material, I am afraid that the target fish will be full only by eating the nest material, which reduces the bite rate.
Another method is more reliable, is to use coarse particles, hard particles, such as cereal, corn, large pieces of rapeseed cake, etc., this kind of thing small trash fish and small fish can not be gnawed, can not swallow a bite. It's hard to be consumed in a short period of time, so even if it's just a little bit, it's fine.
And the things I'm talking about are also relatively light in taste, so they won't attract a lot of trash fish.
If you use cereals to make a nest, it is recommended not to fish immediately after the nest, and it will be better to wait for an hour before starting. If we fish directly, our bait will attract trash fish.

Many people have asked me this question, and to be honest, it is difficult to find, because the eating habits of small fish are more complex than those of big fish, that is to say, small fish that big fish love to eat, and small fish that big fish do not like to eat.
Of course, it is another thing to gnaw and swallow, such as corn and sweet potato chunks commonly used in carp fishing, which can not be bitten off by small fish for half a day.
