Traffic Control Notices
With the approval of the Jiangyin Municipal People's Government, the 2024 Heilan Home Jiangyin Half Marathon is scheduled to be held at 8:00 a.m. on April 14 (Sunday) in Chengjiang Street, Jiangyin City. At that time, nearly 15,000 athletes from 19 countries and regions will participate in two events: half marathon and happy run.
In order to ensure the safe, orderly and smooth progress of the competition, in accordance with Article 39 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, the traffic management department of the public security organ will implement traffic control on some roads at different times and sections during the event, and the notice is hereby announced as follows:
1. Main race routes and directions:
Course 1 (Half Marathon 21.0975 km) :(starting point): Civilization Square→ Middle Chengjiang Road→ Chaoyang Road→ Shanqian Road→ Linjiang Road→ Jiangyin Greenway→ Linjiang Road Bridge → Wenfu North Road→ Tongfu Road→ Tongjiang North Road→ Jiangyin Greenway→ Xiangwan Road→ Bu Road, Qiaolu → Biling East Road→ South Daqiao Road→ North Daqiao Road→ Changjiang Road (Turnback), → North Daqiao Road→ Middle Chengjiang Road→ Jiangyin Gymnasium (Finish).
Track 2 (Happy Run 5 km) :(starting point): Civilization Square→ Middle Chengjiang Road→ Chaoyang Road→ Shanqian Road→ Linjiang Road→ Leek Port Road (finish).
2. According to the needs of the event, during the relevant time period from April 12 to April 14, the following roads will be subject to traffic control except for vehicles and personnel with special certificates for the event:
1. From 9:00 on April 12 to 12:00 on the 14th, Leek Port Road (Linjiang Road-Chunshen Road) will be closed in both directions, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
2. From 22:00 on April 13 to 12:00 on the 14th, Chengjiang Middle Road (Huayuan Road-Huangshan Road) will be closed in both directions, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
3. From 7:30 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. on April 14, Chengjiang Middle Road (Huayuan Road-Chaoyang Road) will be closed in both directions, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
4. From 7:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. on April 14, Chaoyang Road (Middle Chengjiang Road - Middle Binjiang Road) will be closed in both directions, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
5. From 7:30 a.m. to 8:55 a.m. on April 14, Shanqian Road (Binjiang Middle Road-Chunshen Road) will be closed in both directions, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
6. From 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on April 14, Linjiang Road (Chunshen Road - Linjiang Road Bridge West Ridge) will be closed in both directions, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
7. From 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on April 14, Linjiang Road (Linjiang Road Bridge West - Wenfu North Road) will close the motorized lanes and non-motorized lanes on the north side of the road center, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians, and social vehicles can pass in one direction from west to east in the motorway on the south side of the road.
8. From 7:40 to 9:45 on April 14, Wenfu North Road (Linjiang Road - Tongfu Road) will close the motorized lanes and non-motorized lanes on the west side of the road center, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
9. From 7:40 to 10:00 on April 14, Tongfu Road (Wenfu North Road - Tongjiang North Road) will close the motor lane on the north side of the center of the road, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
10. From 7:40 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on April 14, Tongjiang North Road (Tongfu Road - the entrance of the Canal Park under Wuxing Bridge) will be closed in both directions, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
11. From 7:50 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. on April 14, Xiangwan Road (the western starting point of the Canal Park - Buluqiao Road) will be closed to two-way motorways, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
12. From 7:50 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on April 14, Buluqiao Road (Xiangwan Road-Biling East Road) will close the motorway on the east side of the center of the road, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
13. From 7:50 to 11:10 on April 14, Biling East Road (Buluqiao Road - South Bridge Road) will close half of the motor lane on the south side of the road center, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians, and social vehicles can pass in one direction from east to west in the motor lane on the north side of the road.
14. From 8:00 a.m. to 11:10 a.m. on April 14, Daqiao South Road (Biling East Road - Renmin East Road) will close the main lane on the east side of the road center, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians, and social vehicles can pass in one direction from north to south in the motor lane on the west side of the road.
15. From 8:10 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. on April 14, Daqiao North Road (Renmin East Road - Chengjiang Middle Road) will close the main lane, auxiliary lane and non-motorized lane on the east side of the road center, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians from passing, and social vehicles can pass in one direction from north to south in the motorized lane on the west side of the road.
16. From 8:15 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. on April 14, Changjiang Road (North Bridge Road - North Entrance of Huatai Imperial Garden) will be closed in both directions, prohibiting all vehicles and pedestrians.
3. Other precautions:
1. All kinds of vehicles are prohibited from parking on the above-mentioned race roads, and vehicles and pedestrians at each intersection along the race route must obey the command and management of the personnel on duty, and irrelevant vehicles and pedestrians are not allowed to enter the race road.
2. Please try to travel at the wrong time for units along the track and the general public, and choose travel routes and transportation modes in advance according to the traffic control notice, so as not to affect normal work and life.
3. During the event, the public transportation department will make temporary adjustments to some bus routes and issue announcements in advance.
The traffic management department of the Municipal Public Security Bureau will advance or postpone the traffic control time according to the situation at the competition site, expand or reduce the scope of traffic control, please consciously abide by the provisions of this notice, make travel arrangements in advance, and actively cooperate with the traffic management of the public security. During the event, please pay attention to WeChat public accounts such as "Ping An Jiangyin" or "Jiangyin Traffic Police" Douyin account for traffic control and travel tips.
