According to the relevant documents of the state, provinces and cities, the following types of junior high school candidates who are enrolled in the current year can be given encouragement and care for admission or extra points when applying for ordinary high schools. The specific criteria are as follows:

1. Children of military personnel stationed in three or more categories of hardship and remote areas designated by the state, the Tibet Autonomous Region, and the two or more categories (including two categories) of island units designated by the PLA General Headquarters, as well as the children of military personnel and martyrs working in high-risk and high-hazard positions such as aviation, submarines, aerospace, and nuclear weapons, may be admitted according to 10% of the current year's admission score on the basis of a certificate issued by the political organ of the unit at or above the regimental level to which the military belongs, or the civil affairs department of the people's government at or above the county level, upon review and approval by the education administrative department of the local people's government Lower the score for admission. 3. 4. Public security martyrs within the jurisdiction of our city, first- and second-level heroic models, children of people's police officers who died in the line of duty and those disabled in the line of duty in grades 1 to 4, provide martyr certificates, heroic model certificates, certificates of sacrifice in the line of duty, or disability certificates, and after review and approval by the local people's government's administrative department for education, 10 points will be added to the application for ordinary high schools. 5. In accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government's "Implementation Plan for Optimizing the Birth Policy and Promoting the Long-term Balanced Development of the Population" (Linfa [2023] No. 6), for single-child families and rural family planning two-woman families before the adjustment of the comprehensive two-child policy, continue to implement various reward and support systems and preferential policies. 6. 7. For candidates whose 500Hz, 1000Hz, 2000Hz, and 4000Hz pure-tone hearing test results are equal to or greater than 40 decibels (HL) in each ear, they can apply for exemption from the English listening test with the hearing test certificate (report) issued by the hospital at or above the municipal level in our city. For candidates who are exempt from the English listening test, their English listening test results will be converted according to the following formula: listening test score = English written test score × 20/80. (5) The review process of the town-level health and family planning (health) office.
