Zhang Yulei, deputy director of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Management Committee, attended the meeting and introduced Beijing's scientific and technological innovation resources and the construction of the world's leading science and technology park.

Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park is committed to the construction of the world's leading science and technology park, forming six advantageous technology fields such as electronic information, advanced manufacturing and biomedicine, building a benchmark high-quality characteristic industrial park, and supporting the construction of 23 characteristic industrial parks, covering 11 branch parks. In 2023, Zhongguancun will continue to rank first in the comprehensive evaluation of national high-tech zones, and first in the comprehensive competitiveness ranking of national biomedical industrial parks, and has achieved outstanding results.
According to Dr. Liu Jiajun, Qatar Science and Technology Park is an international science and technology park that is a leading international science and technology park, and is one of the key projects organized by the Qatar Foundation. The park focuses on artificial intelligence, information and communication, precision medicine and other fields, and has advanced concepts and management models in scientific research and innovation, ecological construction, park services, resource channels, etc., and has broad prospects and space for cooperation with Zhongguancun Science and Technology Park.

After the meeting, the two sides reached a consensus that they will jointly support enterprises in the park to "bring in" and "go global", focus on enterprises in the fields of artificial intelligence, "AI + medical care" and intelligent manufacturing, and actively participate in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" through inspection and exchange, investment incubation, landing development and other forms. At the same time, we will take the 2024 Zhongguancun Forum and the IASP2025 World Congress as opportunities to strengthen cooperation between parks, sign cooperation agreements, and explore the establishment of cooperation mechanisms focusing on cross-border accelerated incubation, industrial cooperation, and talent exchanges, so as to promote the high-quality development of the parks of both sides.
