In order to ensure the quality of potatoes, the company adopts the order agriculture development model, seeds, mulch film, drip irrigation, fertilizers, pesticides are provided by the company, and the growers are provided with full technical guidance. The input cost of potato planting is 2600-3000 yuan per mu, the yield per mu is more than 5000 catties, and the income can reach 6000-7000 yuan. Compared with the traditional potato planting model, the company leads farmers to develop planting, which can not only reduce risks, but also ensure marketability, increase yields and improve efficiency.
Guangxi Zengxiao Agricultural Co., Ltd. has conducted repeated experiments on a number of different varieties of potatoes, and finally selected potatoes suitable for local cultivation in Hengzhou for promotion and planting. "The cost of ordinary varieties is about 1,500 yuan, and the output will not exceed 1,500 catties. In 2023, the city's potato planting area will be more than 13,000 mu, with an estimated total output of 32,600 tons, and the potato machine cultivation area will be about 13,000 mu, with a mechanization rate of more than 99%. This year, Hengzhou City will put 13,282 agricultural machinery into agricultural production, and it is expected that the potato machine cultivation area will reach 14,000 mu this year.
