According to Polaris statistics, in the first quarter of 2024, the operation and maintenance bidding scale of photovoltaic power plant development enterprises will be 24GW. Among them, China Energy Group ranked first with 8.39GW, followed by Three Gorges Corporation, Huaneng Group, Datang Group and China National Nuclear Corporation with 3GW, 2.5GW, 1.6GW and 1.4GW respectively.
Specifically, there are four main types of PV power station operation and maintenance bidding, with daily operation and maintenance bidding accounting for 76%, photovoltaic module cleaning accounting for 18%, power station weeding accounting for 4%, and module cleaning and weeding accounting for 2%. From the perspective of the operation and maintenance needs of photovoltaic power plants, there are more and more requirements, such as daily inspection (including weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly), photovoltaic module cleaning and maintenance (equipment cleaning and manual cleaning), special inspection and maintenance (spring inspection/autumn inspection), scheduling operation, safety rectification, emergency drills, disaster prevention management, roof leakage repair, station area weeding and drainage, sanitation management, data preservation and file management, etc.
From the perspective of the distribution of photovoltaic power station operation and maintenance projects, Xinjiang, Hunan, Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Shaanxi, and Hubei provinces are the main concentrations, accounting for 58%.
Among the 24GW bidding projects, 17.4GW of projects have announced their winning bids, and 12GW of the National Energy Group, Three Gorges Corporation and China National Nuclear Corporation have awarded bids, accounting for 69%.
From the perspective of winning bidders, Xi'an Xianlin Energy Technology Co., Ltd. leads with a scale of 2.3GW, Inner Mongolia Yixing New Energy and Yitai (Shaanxi) Smart New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Hengtong Electric Power Co., Ltd., Ningxia Huili Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Sunshine Zhiwei Technology Co., Ltd., Hotwon Technology Co., Ltd. These enterprises have won bids at the GW level. Zhejiang Zhengtai Zhiwei Energy Service Co., Ltd. and other 40 enterprises have been won.

In the first quarter of 2024, China Energy Group will have a total of 14 bidding projects, with a bidding scale of 7.88GW.
A total of 15 enterprises, including Xi'an Xianlin Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Sunshine Zhiwei Technology Co., Ltd., shared the bidding project for the operation and maintenance of the power station of the National Energy Group. Among them, Xi'an Xianlin Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Sunshine Zhiwei Technology Co., Ltd., Hotwon Technology Co., Ltd., Ningxia Huili Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Hunan Hengtong Electric Power Co., Ltd. 6 companies won the bid, accounting for 74.9%.
From the perspective of the time of winning the bid, the winning scale was 2.9GW in January, 3.87GW in February, and 1.099GW in March. In February, the largest number of bids were won, which was due to the operation and maintenance services of the source-grid-load-storage 1,000MW photovoltaic power station of the Urumqi Photovoltaic Company of the Xinjiang Company of the National Energy Group, the operation and maintenance services of the 1.08 million kilowatt photovoltaic (including power stations, energy storage stations, collection stations and transmission lines) of the Nileke Energy Development Company of the Xinjiang Company, and the bidding results of the procurement of the module cleaning and maintenance services of the first photovoltaic power station of Zhongheng Longyuan New Energy Co., Ltd. of Longyuan Power Zhongwei Longyuan New Energy Co., Ltd., with a total scale of 3.83GW.
The power station operation and maintenance projects of China Energy Group are mainly distributed in 11 provinces, including Gansu, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Ningxia, Shandong, Shanxi, Tianjin, Xinjiang, Yunnan and Zhejiang, of which Xinjiang and Hunan have the most projects, accounting for 33% and 24% respectively.
In the first quarter of 2024, CTG will award a total of 4 projects, with a scale of 3.06GW.
Six companies, including Ningxia Zhinuo Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd., Xi'an Xianlin Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Sunshine Zhiwei Technology Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Yixing New Energy Co., Ltd., Yitai (Shaanxi) Smart New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and PowerChina Ningxia Engineering Co., Ltd., won the bid for the operation and maintenance project of the Three Gorges Power Station.
Judging from the time of winning the bid, the Three Gorges Group is mainly concentrated in January.
The operation and maintenance projects of the Three Gorges Power Station are distributed in four provinces: Inner Mongolia, Ningxia, Shaanxi and Hubei, of which Inner Mongolia accounts for 65%.
In the first quarter of 2024, CNNC will have a total of 4 bidding projects, with a bidding scale of 1.86GW.
Seven enterprises, including Jiangsu Huayuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Baobaohua Huiyang (Jiangsu) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Zhengtai Zhiwei Energy Service Co., Ltd., Hunan Jianghe Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Beijing Xintai Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and GCL Green Energy System Technology Co., Ltd., won the bid for the operation and maintenance bidding project of China National Nuclear Power Corporation. Among them, Jiangsu Huayuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Baobao Huahui Yang (Jiangsu) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. won the bid, accounting for 66%.
In terms of the time of winning the bid, the winning scale was 330MW in January, 796MW in February and 260MW in March. In February, the scale of winning bids was also the largest, and the winning bidders were concentrated in Jiangsu Huayuan New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Zhengtai Zhiwei Energy Service Co., Ltd., Hunan Jianghe Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Beijing Xintai Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. 4.
