March 2024 is the 8th Myopia Prevention and Control Publicity and Education Month in mainland China, with the theme of "Effectively Reducing the Occurrence of Myopia and Jointly Guarding a Bright Future". In order to let the children know the importance of eye protection and develop good habits of correct eye use, eye care and eye protection, Chunshu Town Chunlei Kindergarten actively responded to the spiritual requirements of the document, implemented the prevention and control of myopia, and carried out a series of theme activities for the prevention of myopia education and publicity in combination with the actual situation of the kindergarten.
The teachers of each class explained the knowledge of "loving eyes and protecting eyes" for children, explained the role of eyes and the importance of eye protection to children with vivid and interesting pictures and videos, and used easy-to-understand language to help children understand how myopia is formed, as well as a series of simple health care knowledge such as myopia prevention and diet, and at the same time, through stories, nursery rhymes, games, eye protection exercises and other forms, guide children to sit correctly, so that children can master the basic knowledge of eye protection. Through various ways, children can better develop good living habits and protect children's visual health.
Through this myopia prevention and control publicity and education activity, the children learned the knowledge of myopia prevention and control, improved their awareness of caring for and protecting their eyes, and learned to develop a good habit of loving and protecting their eyes from an early age. The kindergarten will continue to do a good job in myopia prevention publicity and education, so that every child can grow up in a healthy environment and protect their bright little eyes.
