What is World Health Day?
To commemorate the day of the adoption of the organization's charter, the World Health Organization was officially established at the first United Nations World Health Assembly held in Geneva in June 1948, and decided to designate April 7 as World Health Day every year.
The purpose of World Health Day is to arouse the attention of all countries to health issues, and to mobilize the general concern and improvement of the current health situation and the level of human health in all countries.
The World Health Organization has identified the theme for World Health Day on 7 April 2024 as "My Health, My Rights", which aims to advocate for everyone's right to quality health services, education and information, as well as the freedom of safe drinking water, clean air, good nutrition, adequate housing, working and environmental conditions, and non-discrimination.
