Ed Hardy announces his participation in the International Fur Zero Seller program

Shanghai/London, April 7, 2024 – Ed Hardy, a luxury brand, has announced that it has joined the Fur Free Retailer (FFR) program launched by the China Biodiversity Conservation and Green Development Foundation (Action Asia) and is committed to officially entering the fur-free era. Action Asia is a member of the United Nations NGO Major Group and has been granted special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

After the last release of fur-containing clothing for the Fall/Winter 2024 collection, Ed Hardy will use the Spring/Summer 2025 collection as a starting point to completely stop using animal fur. Ed Hardy has opened 89 brick-and-mortar stores in 44 cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou, as well as operating online stores on multiple platforms, including Tmall, WeChat Mini Program, JD.com and Xiaohongshu.

Zhou Cheng, Director of Ed Hardy, said: "Since its establishment 20 years ago, Ed Hardy attaches great importance to the concept of environmental protection and sustainable development, and is committed to the sustainable development of the company and actively assumes social responsibility. The International Fur Zero Alliance's advocacy of 'providing more life-friendly consumer choices to promote sustainable fashion and the protection of the environment and animals' is very much in line with Ed Hardy's pursuit of environmental protection. We hope to raise the awareness of sustainability among companies and consumers, and to lead the way in a fur-free, sustainable fashion future!"
