Peregrine falcons are migratory birds that migrate according to seasonal food availability and breeding needs. The peregrine falcon attacks in a characteristic way, rushing straight to the ground at great speed from high in the air. The peregrine falcon will fold its wings when diving, then quickly spread its wings when approaching its prey, using the principle of aerodynamics to quickly pull it up, and hold the prey tightly with its sharp claws. Peregrine falcons inhabit a wide variety of habitats, including mountains, hills, deserts, semi-deserts, coasts, wildernesses, grasslands, rivers, swamps and lakes, as well as open farmland, cultivated land and near villages.
