In order to vigorously promote the spirit of model workers and craftsmen, and lead students to firmly establish the firm belief that labor creates a better future, on the afternoon of March 26, the Yanziji Street Federation of Trade Unions specially invited Chen Shilin, a model worker in Nanjing and a member of the Qixia District Model Worker Propaganda Group, to enter Yanziji Central Primary School and bring a lecture on the theme of "Keeping the Original Heart and Practicing the Mission".
At the lecture, Chen Shilin took the theme of "keeping the original intention and practicing the mission", combined with his many years of work experience, and told everyone about his experience from being a soldier to work from three aspects: "keeping the original intention, what cannot be forgotten is the original ideal", "keeping the original intention, what we must stick to is the goal when we set off" and "practicing the mission, we must uphold the will as solid as a rock". In his life resume, there are many titles: soldier, electrician, village head, manager, outstanding party member, model worker. At different stages and in different capacities, he consistently adhered to his original intention of serving the party, the country and the people, and conscientiously fulfilled the glorious mission entrusted by the party and the people.
Chen Shilin used simple language, sincere emotions, and vivid examples to convey the spirit of model workers to the majority of teachers and students, and inspired teachers and students to learn from model workers, understand, learn, and practice the spirit of model workers, labor spirit, and craftsman spirit from the wonderful deeds of model workers, and shine in ordinary posts.
