In the space of three bedrooms, two living rooms, one kitchen and two bathrooms with a construction area of 149 square meters and an area of 103 square meters, we started the journey of creating a new Chinese style home with a hard decoration of 80,000 yuan and a soft decoration budget of 120,000 yuan. The financial constraints after the down payment make us pay more attention to the reasonable allocation of the budget, and strive to find a balance of beauty and taste in the affordable.
In order to save costs and give the home a new look, we chose the path of second-hand housing renovation. In terms of hard decoration, we simplified the decoration materials and construction technology, and chose a warm and elegant beige wall cloth to cover the walls of the whole house. Not only is this color easy to match with a variety of furniture and decorations, but it also has a touch of gentleness and serenity in a new Chinese style.
The use of beige wall coverings creates a soft and comfortable tone throughout the interior, which complements the wood texture of the new Chinese furniture, and together paints a picture of a home where modern and traditional blend. In terms of soft furnishings, we have selected some decorations and fabrics with Chinese elements, such as landscape paintings, blue and white porcelain, etc., which make the home appear more cultural.
Despite the limited budget, every dollar is maximized through clever design and careful placement. This home, although not luxurious and expensive, is full of our thoughts and efforts. It is not only a living space, but also a place full of emotions and stories, carrying our yearning and pursuit of a better life. Here, the simple yet elegant new Chinese style makes every corner of the home exude a gentle and tranquil atmosphere.
