Zhangping
(1934-2015), a native of Xinxiang, Henan. In 1961, he graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 1962, he went to Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Chinese Painting for further study. Since 1979, he has served as a lecturer, associate professor and professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He has created excellent works such as "Song of Mountains and Rivers", "Yanxia Tiandu", "Guilin Jiashan" and "Yellow River". In 2013, "Zhang Ping, a Collection of Chinese Modern and Modern Masters" was published by the People's Fine Arts Publishing House.
