Recently, an earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale struck Hualien in the eastern part of the main island of Taiwan Island, and this is really an incomparably sad tragedy! According to the latest data from relevant quarters, this terrible earthquake has caused the unfortunate deaths of more than 10 Taiwan compatriots and injured as many as 1,000 people! Such a tragic natural disaster is something that no one wants to see.
However, what people did not expect was that this tragic natural disaster had become an "opportunity" for some people in the dark authorities in Taiwan to achieve their ulterior motives, and this was simply outrageous. For example, at a time when everyone was mourning for the compatriots who unfortunately died in the earthquake, the local authorities in Taiwan actually "held a happy funeral," saying that the number of victims of such a large earthquake was "only" more than 10 people, and this was a so-called "success." Even Sandra O'Decreek, director of the "Taiwan Institute" in the United States, publicly issued an "affirmation." The behavior of the Taiwan authorities in deliberately "looking for bright spots" in order to highlight their "political achievements" simply makes people feel angry and ridiculous, and I really don't know how the families of these more than 10 compatriots who died view the so-called "success" in the mouths of the United States and Taiwan authorities.
If the above-mentioned behavior only highlights the lack of conscience of the dark authorities in Taiwan, then the latter incident can simply say that some people on Taiwan really live in the belly of a gentleman with the heart of a villain. In the course of the earthquake, as many as eight F-16 fighters with the most advanced local armed forces were damaged due to the laxity of Taiwan's armed forces and the lack of military prowess in Taiwan. At the same time, the relevant local departments in Taiwan have also released information on the recent activities of 30 fighters of our army around Taiwan Island. Judging from the two points, there are people with bad intentions in Taiwan who have made a big deal out of this matter and smeared our side, saying that the PLA will not take advantage of the chaos and uproar on the island after the earthquake.
I have to say that the relevant people in Taiwan and local places who made such remarks can really be described as "brainless". First of all, the blood on both sides of the motherland is thicker than water, and the blood is connected, and they are siblings who break bones and tendons. Once any natural disaster occurs on the island, the first thing that comes to our mind is to carry out humanitarian assistance, and it is absolutely impossible to take advantage of the chaos to "do it." As a world-renowned army of civilization, might, and justice, the PLA will only maintain peace and protect the people. Therefore, people on the island who spread such remarks can only say that their understanding of the PLA is almost zero.
As a matter of fact, the mainland's Taiwan Affairs Office has long stated that it will provide earthquake support to the island, but it has only been rejected by the Taiwan authorities.
Secondly, those who spread such statements can be said to have no military common sense. You must know that the gap between the military comparisons between the two sides of the strait is quite large today, and the air power of Taiwan's local armed forces may have been quite worth talking about 20 years ago, but now, with the F-16, IDF, and Mirage fighters in this mediocre area, in front of our army, it is a "thick history" to say that it sounds good, and it is "broken copper and iron" to say that it is unpleasant; in the face of such an overwhelming superiority, the PLA is simply grasping it in its hands, and does it still need to wait for the so-called "opportunity" when eight F-16s are damaged?
However, the action of our army's 30 fighter planes to force Taiwan this time seems to be huge, but in fact it is just a part of our army's routine behavior of circumnavigating and patrolling Taiwan, but the local authorities in Taiwan have expressed great nervousness about this, and they have written a special book and made a big fuss, which is as ridiculous as a frightened bird!
In conclusion, I would like to say that if the People's Liberation Army (PLA) really comes to the disaster-stricken areas in Hualien, then the Taiwan compatriots can be said to be truly at ease, because this means that hope has come, and the people in the disaster-stricken areas have been rescued!
