Mosquito repellent shortages are not only happening in the capital, but have recently seen similar situations in many parts of Argentina. Some people try to buy online instead, but the price of the goods is 5 to 10 times the normal level, and the highest price is even 40 US dollars (about 290 yuan) for a bottle.
In order to ensure market supply, the Argentine government introduced new measures this week, temporarily easing restrictions on the import of domestic mosquito repellents, while requiring relevant domestic companies to expand production.
