The special report was informed by the Economic Development Bureau of the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin that after consultation with the relevant departments of Hengqin and Macao, the inspection and release hall of the passenger and truck passage of the Hengqin Port is scheduled to be opened from 3 p.m. on April 9.

The entry and exit channels of the inspection and release hall of the accompanying personnel adopt the customs clearance mode of "cooperative inspection and one-time release", and 8 fast inspection channels and 3 manual inspection channels are set up respectively.
After the opening of the inspection and release hall for on-board personnel, the on-board personnel who take non-operating small passenger cars with less than 9 seats (inclusive) can clear customs from the on-board personnel inspection and release hall. After the customs clearance vehicle is guided by the on-site signs and stops at the designated place, the accompanying personnel can walk to the inspection and release hall of the accompanying personnel to clear the customs according to the on-site identification guidelines.

It is worth noting that Chinese citizens and persons with disabilities who need assistance, such as the elderly aged 70 or above, children aged 10 or below, pregnant women, etc., can continue to be cleared from the entry and exit lanes without a car, while other people still need to clear customs from the passenger inspection hall.
