Four months into 20224, Transfermarkt has published the latest data on every player in its vast database and revealed the top 10 players who have increased in value the most during this time. While stars from around the world are attracting increasing attention, the Premier League and La Liga dominate the list, with three players in each league squeezing into the top 10, accounting for two-thirds of the list.
Top 10 stars with the largest increase in value in 2024
1. Kobe Maynoo - £29.93 million
The value will increase by £24.8 million in 2024
Manchester United's debut, England's national team call-up and debut, his first appearance for his country against Belgium and his shine, it was undoubtedly a season to remember for Bryant Menou. The 18-year-old midfielder has conquered Manchester United supporters and neutral fans with his mature performances.
His meteoric rise to prominence at Old Trafford skyrocketed his value and he is now one of the best young players in the Premier League. No other player in world football is worth more than Kobe Maynu, and if he can continue to develop as many expect, he could even double in value by the end of 2024.
2. Paul Kubasi - £21.38 million

Barcelona's La Masia Academy continues to produce top talent, and it only seems to be a matter of weeks before another emerges after one young star has come to the fore. Paulo Cupais is the latest, another rising star after Pedri, Gavi and Messi, who has entered the Barcelona first team with excellent results under Xavi's guidance.
Paulo Cubasi has made 14 appearances for Barcelona and even made his international debut in March, although he has only played 16 minutes in international breaks so far. Pavlovic is likely to be a key part of Bayern's rebuild for the upcoming season as they try to reassert their dominance in the domestic league
4. Phil Foden - £111.17 million
In 2024, the value will increase by £17.1 million
Phil Foden is the most valuable player on this list and is now worth more than £100 million, but his value is still rising rapidly. The Manchester City Academy graduate is one of the best players in the Premier League so far this season and is firmly in the list of candidates for this season's PFA award.
In the 23/24 season, Phil Foden scored 17 goals in all competitions and he still has time to improve his tally before the end of the league. Although only 23 years old, he has a wealth of experience that no other top-10 player has.
5. Samu Omorodion - £34.21 million

Samu Omorodion began his career in Granada and his talent eventually caught the eye of Atletico Madrid scouts and led to a move to the Wanda Metropolitano in August 2023. However, in order to develop him better, Atletico loaned him to Alaves in the 23/24 season.

To date, Kenan Yildez has played more than 600 minutes for Juventus as an attacking midfielder, winger and central midfielder. NxGN ranks him as one of the eighth-greatest prodigies in world football today due to his performances so far, and while the 18-year-old still needs to work on his finishing ability, he has plenty of time to get better.
7. Igor Thiago - £21.38 million

Igor Thiago has all the makings to be a big striker. The Brazilian is physically strong and lethal in front of goal, and he has been in fine form for Club Brugge so far in 2023/24, scoring 26 times in his first season in all competitions.
Premier League side Brentford have seen Igor Thiago as a potential successor to Ivan Toney and have not hesitated to strike a deal with the 22-year-old. The sharpshooter will join the squad ahead of the 2024/25 season and Thomas Frank will be hoping he can fill the void in the squad.
