Thailand has joined! The "circle of friends" on the moon has expanded again

April 5th is a big day to remember! Why? Because our international lunar research station family has welcomed a new member -- Thailand!

That's right, you heard it right, it's Thailand where the food, the scenery, and the beauty make people linger!

On this day, the China National Space Administration (CNSA) and Thailand's Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (METI) signed two important memorandums of understanding.

Princess Sirindhorn of Thailand also came to the scene, adding a lot of stars to the signing ceremony.

According to the provisions of these two MoUs, China and Thailand will establish a joint committee and a joint working group.

We will carry out in-depth cooperation in many fields such as space exploration, space applications, and space capacity building.

It's not just a sign and a handshake, it's a real cooperation plan!

The most anticipated thing is that the two sides will carry out all-round cooperation on the demonstration, construction and operation of the international lunar scientific research station.

This is a big project, like building a large scientific research community on the moon, inviting various countries, organizations, scientific research institutes, etc. to join in and explore the mysteries of the universe together!

Speaking of Thailand, in fact, as early as 2018, China and Thailand have signed a memorandum of understanding on space cooperation.

The two sides have jointly built the Lancang-Mekong Spatial Information Exchange and Cooperation Center and other projects, which can be said to be old friends.

Thailand's entry into the International Lunar Research Station Program has deepened the cooperation between the two countries in the field of space.

Not only that, Thailand's space weather monitor was also successfully selected for the payload plan of Chang'e-7.

This means that in the near future, we will be working with Thailand on more exciting missions to the Moon!

Finally, I would like to say that Thailand's participation in the International Lunar Research Station Program is not only a recognition and support for China's space industry, but also a common pursuit of the dream of space exploration for all mankind.
