At 2:19 a.m. on April 4, 2024, a police officer was sent from the command center to report that there was a trapped climber on the west mountain of Wurendu, located near Diyan Agui Temple in the territory of Etuoke Banner, and the situation was very urgent······

After receiving the alarm, the full-time fire brigade of the Mengyi Road government immediately dispatched 2 vehicles and 10 people to the scene and contacted the trapped people. Due to the blocked signal in the mountains, poor communication, and the fact that it was late at night, the surrounding environment was dark, and the temperature in the mountains was low, and the trapped people could not provide accurate location information. After learning about the emotional instability and physical exertion of the trapped people, it is the instinctive reaction of all fire and rescue personnel to race against time to reach the scene as quickly as possible and ensure the safety of the trapped people. At the same time, the search for the specific location of the trapped and the difficulty of mountain rescue were placed in front of the firefighters.

In the complex situation of repeatedly contacting the trapped people and facing the inability to contact and interruption of contact at any time, the team correspondent reported the situation to the detachment and the brigade command center while contacting the trapped personnel.

Rescuers arrived at the scene at 3:05 a.m. in 2024. Because the signal source in the mountain was seriously blocked, it was impossible to talk to the trapped people, so the rescuers could only carefully search for each other by illuminating and shooting each other, and finally locked the location of the trapped people. However, the steep mountain, extremely low visibility, and how to approach the trapped people have become the biggest problems in the rescue. On the other hand, they immediately sought help from nearby herdsmen, hoping that with the local herdsmen's understanding of the terrain of the mountain road, they could find a suitable rescue site in the fastest time, which also became the key to rescuing the trapped people as quickly as possible, and also opened up a "life channel".

After understanding that the trapped people have been trapped for a long time, their physical energy consumption is extremely high, and their emotions are very unstable, combined with the fact that the mountaineering path given by the herdsmen is relatively steep, and the crawling is time-consuming and energy-consuming, and the safety cannot be guaranteed. The cadres who led the team immediately gathered everyone to formulate a rescue plan, and were divided into 2 groups for rescue, a group of 4 rescue groups composed of captain Guo Haijun, herdsmen and Xi Zechao, Erlemu 2 firefighters, carrying general safety ropes, belts, slings, portable searchlights, etc., from the side of the mountain in a tortuous way to the top of the rescue; Gao Yuan (correspondent) 4 people once again arrived halfway up the mountain below the trapped people, calmed the emotions of the trapped people, took safety protection measures, surveyed and looked for a safe slope.

The two groups of personnel continuously pass through the intercom system to understand the real-time situation.

At around 6 a.m., after more than 3 hours of difficult climbing, rescuers finally reached the top of the mountain at an altitude of about 2,200 meters. The rescue team decisively gave up the rest time and immediately began the rescue. After repeated mountain surveys and rope lowering groping and attempts, the rescue team found that the vertical distance between the top of the mountain and the trapped people was about 50 meters, and the rope rescue could not be realized. In the case of repeated communication with the second rescue group to determine that the rope rescue distance is satisfied, the anchor point is fixed, and the two rescuers are lowered to reach the relatively safe mountain platform through the rope, and the safety belt is fixed on the rope and lowered to the position of the trapped person. The rhythmic rappelling smoothly sent the trapped people to the second rescue group contact point, and the second rescue team was responsible for protecting and supporting the trapped people to a safe place. In the end, the trapped people were successfully rescued, and hot water and food supplies were obtained at the herdsmen's homes as soon as possible.

Subsequently, the rescue team, led by the herdsmen, arrived at the meeting point safely and smoothly. After nearly 5 hours of continuous fighting, the rescue came to a successful conclusion.
