On April 3, the No. 4 ship of the 1100TEU container ship built by Wuchang Shipbuilding Group of China Shipbuilding Group was successfully launched, marking the completion of the construction of the slipway of the 1100TEU container ship built by Wuchang Shipbuilding for CA SHIPPING!
The No. 1 ship of this type has been successfully delivered, the No. 2 ship is in the sea trial stage, and the No. 3 ship is in the mooring test stage.
The vessel is the last of four 1100TEU container series ships built by Wuchang Shipbuilding for CA SHIPPING (a joint venture established by CSSC Leasing and Yahai Shipping), and is the final work of the series. Wuchang Shipbuilding focuses on the management theme of "learning to promote work, value creation, and excellence", adheres to a high starting point, high standards, high quality, lean planning, gives full play to the advantages of batch construction, constantly summarizes and optimizes construction experience, and promotes the construction of project nodes with high quality and efficiency.
Design & Build Highlights
Guided by intermediate products, actively promote the construction of the general group, promote the shell, outfitting and coating operations in space according to the region, and orderly in time, so as to continuously improve the construction efficiency and outfitting integrity;
Actively promote the parallel operation of the construction group and the main hull assembly, expand the construction operation area, continuously improve the integrity of the interior decoration of the construction group, implement the modular vehicle transfer assembly, and promote the rapid formation of the main hull assembly;
Optimize the cabin entry scheme of the main engine, reserve the space for the main engine to enter the cabin in advance, and spot weld the equipment, pipe outfitting and electrical outfitting in the reserved space during the installation stage, so as to facilitate the disassembly and reassembly of the main engine when entering the cabin;
Reasonably arrange the secret test work of tank clearance, divide the priority of the transfer sequence and break it one by one, so as to ensure the smooth transfer of the slipway shafting construction project and the ballast tank;
Summarize the construction experience of the packing system, strictly control the installation quality of the box foot and guide rail, and carry out the test box inspection in advance according to the self-inspection plan, so as to realize the one-time qualification of the test box inspection of 7 cargo holds, and shorten the construction period of the slipway;
Actively use advanced technology and construction methods to improve hatch enclosure welding, fast hanging box and other processes, ensure the accuracy of hatch cover installation, promote the design and manufacture of no margin, outfitting unitized modular construction and uncoded assembly and other processes, and steadily improve the construction progress and quality.
At present, the ship's cabin secret test has been completed, the whole ship outfitting work has been basically completed, the engine and electrical equipment, the whole ship pipe system except for the heat tracing pipe, the main engine shafting connection pipe and cold storage have all been installed, the external inspection and installation inspection has reached 90%, and the built-in wall and ceiling except for the main deck and ladder have been basically installed. Subsequently, the project team will continue to organize the mooring test and interior decoration work with high standards and high quality to ensure the smooth delivery of the ship on schedule.
