On the eve of the Qingming Festival in 2024, teachers and students from many primary and secondary schools in Zaozhuang City went to the Zaozhuang Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery with great reverence to remember the revolutionary martyrs and inherit the red gene. In the cemetery, the teachers and students first carried out a solemn ceremony, laid wreaths at the martyrs' monument, and observed a three-minute silence to express their high respect for the revolutionary martyrs.
At the end of the memorial sweeping activity, the lecturer of the martyrs' cemetery told the students about the heroic deeds and great spirit of the revolutionary martyrs, and guided the students to understand that today's happy life is not easy to come by, and it is the life and blood of countless martyrs. The students listened attentively and expressed their desire to inherit the legacy of the martyrs, study hard, and contribute to the development of the country in the future.
This activity not only allowed teachers and students to experience and understand the cultural connotation of traditional festivals on the special day of Qingming Festival, but also promoted the spirit of patriotism and enhanced the sense of historical mission and responsibility through practical actions.
