After investigation, it was found that the modus operandi of the three cases was the same, and through the collection of surveillance video around the incident, it was confirmed that the three cases were committed by the same person, and the suspect was a young man, who pulled the door of the vehicle parked along the road during the walk, and once the unlocked vehicle was found, he pulled the door and entered to commit the theft.
Because the time period of the crime was early in the morning, the surveillance video could not capture the clear appearance of the suspect, which made the investigation and handling of the case deadlocked for a while. Investigators changed their thinking about handling the case, and found through reverse video tracking and extended surveillance video at the scene of the crime that the man had been following a black sedan around when he committed the crime, which was suspected to be the vehicle driven by the co-defendants. After discovering the clue, the investigators immediately went to Xihua to carry out arrest work. On March 31, the criminal suspect Feng Moumou, who committed the theft of the car door, was successfully arrested in a small area in Xihua County, and according to Feng Moumou's confession, the co-defendants Li and Jin were arrested in a residential area. After investigation, Feng Moumou (a minor, 15 years old), ran away from home because he was angry with his parents, and met Li on the "A Certain Hand" platform. After Li learned that Feng Moumou was a minor and ran away from home, he teamed up with his girlfriend Jin Moumou to instigate Feng Moumou to commit theft by pulling the car door on the pretext of providing him with food and lodging, and the three of them divided the spoils after they succeeded.
After interrogation, Feng, Li, and Jin confessed to their criminal acts of jointly committing theft. At present, the suspects Li and Jin have been criminally detained in accordance with the law, and Feng Moumou has ruled that he will not be placed in administrative detention in accordance with the law because he is a minor, and his parents have been ordered to strictly discipline him, and the case is under further investigation.
