In order to further purify the surrounding environment of the campus and escort the healthy growth of minors. On April 2, 2024, the Xiangcheng County People's Procuratorate, together with the County Education Bureau and the County Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, carried out a "large-scale investigation" of illegal crimes against minors and the safety around the campus.
On-campus food safety inspections
The working group supervised and inspected the implementation of the main responsibility for food safety in urban primary schools, county middle schools, Nice boarding primary schools, and Qingde Town boarding primary schools. First, we checked whether the food business license of the canteen and the health certificate of the employees were complete, and then we went deep into the food processing area to check whether the source of the ingredients was compliant, whether there was expired and spoiled food, and whether the food samples were standardized. After inspection, the food safety management system of the school canteen was well implemented.
Food safety inspections around the campus
The working group focused on supermarkets, non-staple food stores and other business households around the campus, and investigated business licenses, purchase channels, expired food, "three nos" food, and "prohibiting the sale of tobacco and alcohol to minors" slogans. After investigation, it was found that some shops sold expired food and "three nos" food, and the working group ordered the operator to immediately remove the problematic products found in the inspection, and confiscated the problematic products. At the same time, carry out legal popularization and publicity for operators, urge individual industrial and commercial households to operate in good faith and abide by the law, and ensure the safety of food.
Promote the mandatory reporting system
Taking the opportunity of the "investigation of hidden dangers" involving violations of juvenile crimes and the safety around the campus, the cadres and police of the Xiangcheng County People's Procuratorate publicized the mandatory reporting system for cases of violations against minors to school teachers, introduced the importance of the mandatory reporting system and the 9 situations that should be reported, and guided the establishment of the concept of "mandatory reporting is everyone's responsibility", effectively improved the reporting awareness of the majority of teachers and staff, and at the same time learned from the school leaders and teachers whether there is campus bullying and other behaviors on campus. In this supervision and inspection activity, a total of more than 60 brochures were distributed.
In the next step, the township and county people's procuratorates will continue to do a good job in the "investigation of hidden dangers" around the campus in accordance with the requirements of the special action to prevent and combat violations and crimes against minors at the state and county levels and the comprehensive management of the campus surroundings, and strengthen supervision, comprehensively investigate the potential safety hazards on the campus and the surrounding areas, so as to leave no blind spots and no blind spots, and ensure the safety and stability of the campus and the surrounding areas.
