The "life-saving party" turned out to be a "life-urging charm", and it stands to reason that at this time, it is necessary to stop the "airdrop operation" and think of a more effective way.
In fact, Hamas has done just that, calling for the immediate opening of land routes to make relief more safer to Gaza refugees.
But who knows, the United States immediately rejected this proposal. A White House spokesman said that the airdrop was one of the ways they provided relief supplies to refugees in Gaza, and they would continue to do so.
It is clear that the Biden administration has completely failed to care about the lives of the people of Gaza. All they care about is whether this scene can continue.
Why? The reason is simple. The total amount of supplies dropped by a plane is even less than that of two trucks, which is a drop in the bucket for the 2 million Gaza refugees.
If the United States really wants to solve the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, it should put severe pressure on Israel to open aid ports and allow aid to flow into Gaza. Instead of engaging in some airdrop operations with little effect, as is the case now.
In addition, the most fundamental reason for such a serious humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza is the delay in ceasefire and the end of hostilities. As long as the United States continues to provide arms and ammunition and other military assistance to Israel, it is almost impossible for this conflict to stop.
It is undeniable that the airdrop operation has indeed brought certain living materials to the refugees in Gaza and alleviated their urgent needs. But when it was clear that there could have been a better solution, the United States sat idly by and allowed the airdrop of supplies to cause casualties to happen repeatedly. So in the end, it's just a political show.
So why is the Biden administration insisting on this show?
To put it bluntly, this is all about the presidential election in the second half of the year. The Biden administration wants to cheat Arab voters out of votes, so it's a show of trying to help Gaza refugees.
