The old look of the bridge has been renewed
The project is located at the junction of Kangping Road and Dongfang Honghe in Pukou District. Before the renovation, Kangping Road was a two-hole box culvert across the Dongfang Red River, which had a long service life, an outdated structure, and insufficient water crossing section, which affected the flood control and drainage function of the Dongfang Red River. The project demolished the original two-hole box culvert on Kangping Road, and built a new three-span simply supported beam bridge, with a total length of 26 meters and a width of 21 meters. The project is listed as a key project in Pukou District and implemented by Pukou Urban Construction Group.

After the renovation, the bridge adopts the design of 4.5 meters wide sidewalks on both sides and 12 meters wide two-way lanes in the middle, which maximizes the use of the cross-sectional width of the bridge and moderately raises the height of the sidewalks to ensure that motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles and pedestrians go their own ways and improve traffic safety.
At the same time, the bridge adopts a concrete structure, and the height of the entire bridge is increased by about 50 cm, which greatly improves the water crossing section, ensures the safe and smooth flow of river flood drainage, and also improves the safety of the cross-river structure of Kangping Road.

The bridge is located in the modern style characteristic area of Pukou Avenue, surrounded by modern style residential land, the group takes "modern urban style" as the design theme, deepens the decoration scheme, the main decorative materials are mainly light and warm paints, metal, and the use of metal grilles and other modern decorative materials; Morning and dusk change, and there is a scene everywhere.
