At the end of 2022, he watched a group of astronomical photography contest works, and was deeply shocked by the bright starry sky frozen in square inches, so he also began to study astrophotography. In the last 2 years, he has taken a large number of deep space photographs during his sabbatical.

According to Pang Bangpeng, astrophotography can be roughly divided into Hoshino photography and deep space photography from the shooting technique, the former is relatively simple, the latter is relatively complex, but deep space photography can capture the gorgeous celestial images that we can't see with the naked eye, in order to enjoy this gorgeous visual feast, he is more keen on deep space photography.

When on vacation, when encountering a clear night sky, Pang Bangpeng will set up astronomical equipment, and after a series of complex adjustments, start shooting for a whole night. For Pang Bangpeng, astrophotography is not only a test of technique, but also a test of patience and perseverance due to the change in weather during the shoot that can ruin the entire night's shooting plan. In addition to the difficult shooting process, the post-processing of the photo is not an easy task, and it needs to go through a series of complex post-production processes such as stretching, cropping, color balancing, noise reduction, etc., to output a wonderful starry sky map. Although the filming and post-processing process takes up most of his vacation time, Pang Bangpeng enjoys it. Starry sky photography has also become a way for him to regulate his stressful training life.

Today, take a look at the beautiful deep-space photography he took in his spare time.
