Qibugou is located in the deep mountainous area northwest of Wu'an. During the Anti-Japanese War, it belonged to the Taihang base of the Eighth Route Army. Under the leadership of the party, the military and the people in the base areas overcame numerous difficulties and waged an arduous struggle against the Japanese invaders, leaving behind many red relics, which have become valuable resources for carrying out patriotic education and education in revolutionary traditions today. In recent years, the scenic spot has received a number of party and government organs, enterprises and institutions, universities, primary and secondary schools, etc. to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs, inherit the red gene, and accept the spiritual baptism.
The former site of the field hospital of the 129th Division of the Eighth Route Army
During the Anti-Japanese War, in order to treat the wounded and sick of the Eighth Route Army, taking advantage of the unique advantage of deep forests and dense forests in Qibu Valley, Liu Bocheng, commander of the 129th Division, personally inspected the site and set up a field hospital here. Wang Jinshan, the prototype of Li Yunlong, the protagonist of the TV series "Bright Sword" and the deputy head of the 772nd Regiment of the 386th Brigade of the 129th Division of the Eighth Route Army, once healed here. In line with the principle of "repairing the old as the old", the scenic spot has invested in the restoration of 38 hospital buildings, completed the layout of 8 exhibition rooms, and equipped with full-time docents.
Monument to the Anti-Japanese Martyrs
Established in August 2015, it is the largest monument to anti-Japanese martyrs in Wu'an. The Monument Square covers an area of 2,100 square meters.
Anti-Japanese Martyrs Memorial Wall
During the Anti-Japanese War, Wu'an had more than 1,300 outstanding sons and daughters stained with blood. The memorial wall is engraved with the "List of Anti-Japanese Martyrs".
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, due to the strict blockade of the enemy, there was a serious shortage of medical supplies in the field hospitals, and many wounded and sick sacrificed their lives because they could not receive timely and effective treatment. More than 300 bones of unknown martyrs are buried in the cemetery.
Taihang people
Part of the field hospital for the families of Taihang people. The courtyard is built on the mountain, which is a typical Taihang Mountain dwelling.
