MGTO and the Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT) are actively launching a wide range of tourism activities or projects to boost the community economy. Starting from March this year, MGTO and Meituan are planning to launch the "Macao Heartbeat" campaign in the second and fourth quarters of this year, hoping to synergize with the "Weekend Spending Rewards in the North District" to attract visitors to the district and help promote the development of the district.

MGTO's "Coldplay Macao" is the first in the North District to set up trendy toys

In mid-March, MGTO launched the "Coldplay Macao" project, which will be launched in two phases to create limited-time IP installations in different communities in Macao, showcasing the unique charm of the creative installations through elements such as trendy toys, cultural creativity and international animation, and creating a more diversified "tourism +" experience for Macao residents and visitors.

The first phase of the project was carried out in the North District and was carried out in three parts:

The first part is the first to launch three sets of large-scale IP devices for the trendy toy character "Pigskin" in the Oriental Coastal Leisure Area of the North District, which is created in cooperation with the famous artist and model toy collector Wu Zhuoxi's personal trendy toy brand "Pigskin";

The second part will showcase the IP installation of the local cultural and creative "Tide in Macao" at the Oriental Pearl Leisure Area from 20 April to 22 September, while iconic check-in spots will be set up at six locations in the North District from May to September to enhance the vitality and fun of the North District and promote the tourism economy of the community.

The Economic and Technological Bureau is preparing to set up a punch-in device in the North District to attract customers to the district for consumption

The Economic and Technological Development Bureau (DSEDT) is planning to set up "flower" themed check-in devices at various locations in the North District in phases to attract more residents and visitors to visit and spend in the community, and to explore and experience the charm of the community. The first batch of installations is expected to be completed by the end of April, and it is expected to play a synergistic effect with the "Weekend North District Consumption Awards", injecting new vitality into the North District and revitalizing the community economy.

Meituan creates a "community business card" to help publicity

MGTO and Meituan are planning to launch the "Macao Hearts" campaign in the second and fourth quarters of this year, creating destination business cards on tourism maps of different communities in Macao, so that consumers can easily access community information, consumption guides, special offers and user reviews. The event will also collaborate with SME merchants in the North District and other communities to launch exclusive offers to attract visitors' attention to Macao's community tourism and drive traffic and consumption from community catering and other merchants.
