The second phase of the second phase of the comprehensive renovation of the Inner Ring Expressway (Chayuan Interchange - Panlong Interchange) will start on March 28, 2024, with a construction period of 80 days. In order to ensure the safety, orderliness and smoothness of traffic during the construction period, the South Bank Traffic Patrol Police reminded the majority of drivers to plan their travel routes in advance and avoid the construction section as much as possible.
1. Construction time
The construction will start on March 28, 2024 and be completed on June 15, 2024 (postponed due to special circumstances such as weather impact), and the construction period will occupy 80 days throughout the day.
2. Traffic control measures
During the construction period, all vehicles are prohibited from driving from the Zhenwushan Tunnel to the Nanshan Interchange, and only the Zhenwushan Tunnel is allowed to travel in the direction of four kilometers (as shown in the map).
3. Transportation organization during construction
1. The first phase of the construction of the section from the tea garden interchange to the Panlong interchange (March 28 - May 6, a total of 40 days) occupies 2 lanes on the left and 2 lanes on the right side of the Panlong interchange direction of the tea garden interchange, and the construction is alternate. Two lanes will be reserved until the end of construction. At this stage, the direction of Panlong Interchange and Tea Garden Interchange will maintain the status quo and 4 lanes of traffic (as shown in the figure).
2. The second stage of the construction of the direction section from Panlong Interchange to Chayuan Interchange (May 7 - June 15, a total of 40 days) respectively occupies 2 lanes on the left side and 2 lanes on the right side of the direction section from Panlong Interchange to Chayuan Interchange, alternate construction, retains 2 lanes of traffic, and borrows 1 lane in the opposite direction as the direction of Panlong Interchange Tea Garden Interchange directional lane (as shown in the figure).
Fourth, the vehicle traffic during the construction period
1. Four kilometers from the tea plantation interchange: maintain the status quo.
2. From the Chayuan Interchange to the Nanshan Interchange and the Panlong Interchange: it is necessary to divert Nanjiang Avenue to pass through the Baisha Interchange and Xiakou Interchange (as shown in the figure).
3. The four-kilometer interchange and Nanshan interchange enter the Inner Ring Expressway, and can be passed in the direction of Panlong Interchange or Chayuan Interchange (as shown in the figure).
4. During the construction period, the majority of traffic participants are requested to pay close attention to the traffic control notice, reasonably plan the travel route, consciously obey the command of the traffic patrol police and traffic coordinators, and pass according to the instructions of traffic signs and markings. Due to the inconvenience caused by road construction to the general public, we apologize for your understanding.
Interpretation of measures:
(1) Question: If you mistakenly enter the Zhenwushan Tunnel and prepare to drive in the direction of Nanshan and Danzishi, how to convert?
A: You can first pass through the Jiangnan Interchange to the four-kilometer interchange to get off the road. In the direction of Nanshan, you can go through Yanyu Road and Haitangxi New Street, or make a U-turn at the four-kilometer interchange and pass to Xianghuang Road, and if you go to Danzishi, you can go to Tushan Road or Nanbin Road, or you can make a U-turn at the four-kilometer interchange and then enter the inner ring.
(2) Q: Is there any impact on the entry and exit of the four-kilometer interchange and the Nanshan interchange in and out of the inner ring?
A: No. The four-kilometer interchange to the Panlong interchange and the tea garden interchange, the Panlong interchange to the four-kilometer interchange and the tea garden interchange, the Nanshan interchange to the four-kilometer interchange, the tea garden interchange and the Panlong interchange are all passable.
(3) Q: What routes can be detoured during road construction?
Answer: You can transfer traffic through Nanjiang Avenue at Chayuan Interchange, Baisha Interchange and Xiakou Interchange.
(4) Q: Is there any traffic regulation for trucks on Nanjiang Avenue?
A: According to the regulations on the passage of trucks in the central city, trucks without a permit can only pass between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. the next day.
