It seems that Yuanchun's relatives are family-oriented, but Jia Zheng hides selfishness everywhere in it, and has a clear intention of compensating his daughter.

When Jia Zheng saw Jia Yuanchun go home, he didn't smile, but had tears in his eyes, which showed that the reluctance and concern in his heart for his daughter to enter the palace and suffer occupied his main feelings. If you are Jia Yu and Jia Zhen and others, you may not have this heart.
Jia Zheng's words to Yuan Chun in a large paragraph highlight two meanings.
