Recently, Liancheng County held the 2024 high-quality farmers' grain and oil special (provincial funds) training course to inject new vitality into rural revitalization.
At the training site in West Village, Xinquan Town, Wu Zhenxin, senior agronomist of Liancheng County Agriculture and Rural Bureau, explained the rice darkening seedling sowing technology to the trainees in simple terms, and guided the trainees to spring plowing and spring planting.

Liancheng County's 2024 high-quality farmers' grain and oil special (provincial funds) training course will be held in two phases, with 360 trainees. The training focused on the green and efficient production of grains, oils and important agricultural products, followed the teaching principle of "practical, professional, systematic and comprehensive", invited experienced agricultural technology experts to teach, and offered courses such as high-yield green cultivation technology of rice, scientific use and recycling of agricultural film, rape flower planting technology and its economic value, and green, high-quality and efficient planting technology of sweet potato to meet the needs of students. In addition, the training course also carefully arranged a series of on-site teaching activities to help the trainees better transform theoretical knowledge into practical operation and improve their practical ability.
"In this training, we combined with the current agricultural work focus of our county, highlighted the production and mechanization level of rice, rapeseed and other grains and oils, promoted farmers to achieve skill improvement in the planting of grains and oils and other crops, and focused on cultivating a group of high-quality farmers who are educated, understand technology, are good at management and management, and provide strong intellectual support and talent guarantee for ensuring food security in our county. Since the implementation of the high-quality farmer cultivation project in 2014, Liancheng has cultivated a total of 5,703 high-quality farmers and issued 3,032 high-quality farmer qualification certificates. In 2024, Liancheng will train 1,230 new high-quality farmers.
