According to data disclosed by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, iPhone shipments in the Chinese market in January this year were about 5.5 million units, down 39% year-on-year, and about 2.4 million units were shipped in February this year, down 33% year-on-year. In contrast, domestic smartphones are highly sought after by consumers.

From January to February 2024, 38.078 million domestic mobile phones were shipped, up 38.7% year-on-year, accounting for 82.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period, and 45 new models were listed, up 18.4% year-on-year, accounting for 90.0% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

According to relevant research data, in February this year, Apple provided a large discount on iPhone series products on major e-commerce platforms, with a discount of $180, an increase from $120 in the same period in previous years. This change reflects Apple's adjustment of its marketing strategy for the Chinese market. By offering larger discounts, Apple aims to attract more consumers' attention and boost product sales.
