Yamaha's new Xmax Tech Max Edition was officially launched in China, priced at 49,800 yuan. Although the price is the same as the old model, which makes motorcycle friends overjoyed, things are far from so simple.
First of all, let's talk about the changes between the Tech Max version and the standard version, mainly in the new color scheme and some configuration upgrades. The new Xmax Tech Max Edition has an exclusive color scheme and a unique logo, and the body parts are treated with a special semi-metallic gloss finish, which is more high-end and elegant.
In terms of configuration, the braking system of the new Xmax Tech Max version adopts a front single-piston caliper + 267mm single disc, a rear single-piston caliper + 245mm single disc, and is equipped with ABS and TCS tracking control system. The suspension consists of an upright fork and a rear twin shock. The instrument adopts a dual instrument cluster composed of a 3.2-inch LCD instrument and a 4.2-inch TFT color instrument, which can be connected to a mobile phone by connecting to an exclusive APP. In addition, it is equipped with exclusive seat cushions, alloy footrests, adjustable handlebars, adjustable windshield and keyless start.
The power is unchanged, but it is powered by the same 292cc single-cylinder engine as the previous model, with a maximum output of 20.6 kW at 7,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 29.0 Nm at 5,750 rpm.
The price remains unchanged and the configuration is upgraded. But interestingly, the rear shock of the Xmax Tech Max Thailand version is equipped with Ohlins dual shocks!
