Subaru Motors (China) Co., Ltd. is recalling some imported Forester series vehicles

  A few days ago, Subaru Automobile (China) Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products, the Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Regulations on the Administration of Motor Vehicle Emission Recall. From March 15, 2024, a total of 1,257 imported Forester series vehicles manufactured between July 31, 2023 and September 27, 2023 will be recalled.

  Due to the wrong ignition coil installed in the vehicles covered by this recall, there may be a difference in the ignition characteristics of the ignition coil for the ignition signal sent by the ECU, and the discharge energy of the ignition coil may be reduced. Under extreme operating conditions, the combustion condition of the mixture may deviate from the ideal state at the time of vehicle development, and there is a risk of unreasonable emissions.

  Subaru Motors (China) Co., Ltd. will replace the correct ignition coils for the vehicles covered by the recall to eliminate the risk of unreasonable emissions.

  Subaru Automotive (China) Co., Ltd. will notify the relevant users by registered mail, telephone, etc., through authorized dealers, and arrange the recall for repair. Toyota Hainan Mobility Co., Ltd. is recalling some imported Lexus LX600 vehicles

  A few days ago, Toyota Hainan Mobility Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products". It has decided to recall a total of 166 imported Lexus LX600 vehicles manufactured between August 1, 2023 and January 12, 2024 from March 31, 2024.

  For vehicles covered by this recall, due to insufficient consideration of the multi-plate clutch structure in the automatic transmission and the control procedures related to power transmission, the clutch may not be completely disengaged after engaging neutral, and the driving force is still in the transmission state, if the brake pedal is released, the vehicle will drive unexpectedly, and there are potential safety hazards.

  Toyota Hainan Mobility Co., Ltd. will upgrade the transmission control software for the vehicles covered by the recall free of charge to eliminate potential safety hazards.

Porsche (China) Motors Co., Ltd. is recalling some imported 911 series vehicles

  A few days ago, Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. From April 22, 2024, a total of 561 imported 911 series vehicles with production dates between September 18, 2020 and February 7, 2024 will be recalled.

  Some of the vehicles covered by this recall are not sufficiently cleaned during production due to the insufficient windshield bonding to the body. In a collision accident, the front windshield may loosen and cannot support the airbag to fully deploy, affecting the protection effect of the occupants and posing a safety hazard.

  Porsche (China) Motors Co., Ltd., through authorized dealers, will inspect the front and rear windshields of the vehicles covered by the recall free of charge, and replace them if they do not meet the requirements to eliminate potential safety hazards.

Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. and Stellantis (Shanghai) Automobile Co., Ltd. are recalling some imported hybrid vehicles

  A few days ago, Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. and Stellantis (Shanghai) Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the requirements of the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products. It has been decided to recall the following vehicles with immediate effect.

  1. Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd

  A total of 4,730 units of the partially imported 2.0T 4xe Sahara four-door Wrangler hybrid manufactured between January 19, 2021 and October 18, 2022 and 392 units of the partially imported 2.0T 4xe Rubicon four-door Wrangler hybrid manufactured between January 13, 2021 and March 31, 2023 are being recalled.

  2. Stellantis (Shanghai) Automobile Co., Ltd

  A total of 3,836 imported all-new Grand Cherokee 4xe vehicles manufactured between February 3, 2023 and October 9, 2023 are being recalled.

  Some vehicles within the scope of this recall may not work due to the software error of the hybrid control module, which may reduce the visibility of the driver in extreme cases, increase the risk of vehicle collision, and pose a safety hazard.

  Chrysler (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. and Stellantis (Shanghai) Automobile Co., Ltd. will update the software of the hybrid control module for the vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge, and the new version of the software optimizes the control logic to ensure the normal operation of the defrost and defogging systems to eliminate potential safety hazards.
